Danny Rand (Finn Jones) awakes in Birch Psychiatric Hospital under the observation of Simon (James Hindman), not a psychiatrist but another patient with murderous intent. The Meachum’s have committed Danny to the Hospital to protect him from himself. Ward Meachum (Tom Pelphrey) pays a visit to Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick) to convince her to sign an affidavit saying Danny is dangerous but Colleen goes to talk to Danny instead. Daniel must prove to the psychiatrists, Colleen and Joy Meachum (Jessica Stroup) that he is the infamous prodigal son of Rand Enterprises or channel the Iron Fist and break out of the facility. Having lost his connection to his chi his only option is to use a popular confectionery to provide proof of one of his identities.
